I am not a quote of the day kind of girl, but this quote is ME. In my personal life, I cannot make it anywhere on time, and I'd like to think this is why.

In reality, the weekends are the only days of the week where I get to have free time, like most people, and I hate the feeling of being obligated - no matter what it's for.
Wow - this is definitely a magazine cover day! So many stories. The Mariah Carey wedding photos went up on People at 10 am. Turns out the eloping was pretty planned.
Mariah planned the wedding pretty well. Mariah's assistant arrived on Eleuthera Island, on April 27 to start making arrangements. Soon there after live Maine lobsters were flown in, along with a private jet just for the flower arrangements. Mimi's security team and several staff members arrived early as well to get the home ready in time. The only thing that Mariah made sure was with HER was the cake. It sat beside her the whole ride there ans she didn't allow anyone near it. DIVA! I would be the same way too, though - you can't replace the cake on an island!
Mariah and Nick, and their 24 guests got off the plan with drinks in hand. The couple headed over to her $5 million home and guests checked in to the hotel. The next day, Mariah and Nick married at noon on the over looking the ocean. How romantic and magical!
Mariah says of her new love,
"We really do feel we are soul mates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me."

Mariah Carey looks amazing on the cover of Vibe magazine. The diva posed for the cover on location at Eagle's Landing, a private island off the coast of Antigua. This is the host spot where Mariah celebrated her 38th birthday and had her impromptu wedding to Nick Cannon. These sexy photos were shot before details of their relationship came out, as you can see from the lack of hand-me-down ring on her finger.

Move over Kanye & 50 cent, the DIVAS are coming out! Two of musics hottest artists, Mariah carey and mary J. Blige will be releasing their albums on the smae date. Mariah and Mary's Albums are set to hit stores November 20th, giving this diva showdown the name of "Battle of the Titans II". Both women sure know how to see albums and this is said to be Mariah's best work to date.
Personally I can not wait!! I love both women but Mariah is my ultimate favorite. I hope she tours with this album as well her "Emancipation of Mimi" tour was amazing.
Mariah Carey takes it off for the September issue of Interview Magazine that hits stands on August 28th.
Mimi tells People: “I’m finishing up my record right now. It’s my favorite music I’ve ever done, basically. And I’m in a movie called Tennessee - I play Krystal. The character is very different from me and I think people are going to be surprised - she’s very unglamorous, very raw.”
I am a big Mariah Carey fan and can't wait for her new CD to come out.
Allure has Britney Spears as their September covergirl, although it looks like the photo was taken ages ago, when Britney Spears was in her prime. Thank God for photoshop, huh? I love how both Allure magazine and Britney's Believe perfume ad, both photoshop out her nappy extensions. Great title though!
The editor in chief of Allure, Linda Wells, had said: "I thought we could present the profile as her comeback. Perhaps Britney’s story would be redemptive, like those of Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore and Mariah Carey before her.”

Mariah Carey has released the real version of her fragrance ad. Still photoshopped and fake looking, personally I like the fake one better! I love Mariah Carey but I wish she would just show the world her real self!

Mariah Carey recently introduced her first fragrance, M by Mariah Carey. Of course the queen of photoshop looks amazing. But WTF is up with her shoes? Maybe she was having a bad day and wanted to be comfy-the horror! They couldn't photoshop in some stilettos?

I can't wait for Mariah Carey's perfume to come out! I don't really care about the smell of the perfume, I love the bottle and the butterfly on top is so Mariah.
Mariah Carey may be jumping on the Angelina adoption bandwagon soon. Mariah visited the Frank Gonzalez Orphanage in Mexico with her lawyer recently and rumor has it that the singer is interested in adoption. There is no official confirmation from Carey's reps but sources reveal it may be in the works. I think Mariah would be a good mom, I think she needs someone to take care of. Lord knows she could give a child everything!
Mariah Carey made an appearance at the Pinko Boutique Clothing Store in London where they have hired Mariah to be the face of their UK-inspired fashion brand.
"I’m really flattered to have been asked to be the new face of Pinko,” Mimi said at a press conference today. “I first discovered this spectacular fashion house while working in Italy, in my favorite place in the world, the Isle of Capri, while recording my latest CD 'The Emancipation of Mimi.' In the March issue of Playboy, the 37-year-old singer talks openly about her 2001 breakdown, the Eminem dating drama, wardrobe malfunctions and how she actively avoids her own movie.
On Her Breakdown in 2001:"What happened was that people made a big deal of when my old publicist pulled the microphone out of my hand because I was venting about Howard Stern. Howard Stern had said a lot of mean stuff about me that morning, as he does about everybody every morning, and I think it really got to me. So I gained five pounds. On Endless Wardrobe Malfunctions:Oh please, there have been so many. On this tour there was a really bad malfunction... It was this little top with a hook and eye on the front. It was a nightmare. The top was so tight that night because we girls have moments when the top might be tighter, but I caught it, and that’s how you know a pro.
On Glitter:I try to avoid it. Actually, I don’t mind it. There are moments that make me laugh, and I don’t care.... Glitter was such a bomb, but no one ever pointed out that it came out around September 11, 2001.
I love her, she is such a talent, but is there not another cover she could do to explain all this besides Playboy?
I guess where it's freezing she has to cover up more:) Her she is leaving her mother's store in Aspen. Also in the news about Mariah-Universal Music Group, Doug Morris, says that Mariah is set to release TWO albums in 2007. I can not wait, but I hope they aren't thrown together like Beyonce's album.
